Re: Your Help Desk posting Suggestion

edit

I saw your query at the Help Desk regarding an article on your book(s), Astreya. Leaving the WP:COI issues aside, there are "notability" requirements, that may be difficult for an Astreya article to meet. See WP:BK for information. The major sticking point is as follows: "The book has been the subject[1] of two or more non-trivial[2] published works appearing in sources that are independent of the book itself.[3] This includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, other books, television documentaries, bestseller lists,[4] and reviews. This excludes media re-prints of press releases, flap copy, or other publications where the author, its publisher, agent, or other self-interested parties advertise or speak about the book.[5]" ( For a directory to all notability guidelines, check here: [[1]]). I was interested in your request, and visited your website. I read some of your blog posts and really enjoyed them! I had considered writing an article about Astreya, but was unable to find (online) the information to satisfy the notability requirements. Perhaps there are some items that are in print that could be used? If so, contact me at my talk page. Best wishes! --Tribe of Tiger (talk) 22:07, 11 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
