Hello, Sevvy413, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Smash Mouth did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I apologize. I thought that I had put the source of my edit correctly however now I see I may have mistyped it and it reverted to the previous source. I am still new so I am trying to figure out all of the little nuisances with the code to ensure my edits are factually correct. It is not, nor would it ever be my intention to just throw out arbitrary information without backing it up with solid references. Sevvy413 (talk) 04:00, 30 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Here is yours. Give it a go if you want to test before adding to the main space. You can also hit the "show preview" button first before you hit the "publish changes" button which will first show you what your edit will look like without actually changing the article. It's a great way to see whether edits are working correctly. Hit me up any time if I can help with anything and welcome once again! Robvanvee 06:51, 30 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please help me with... Hello! I saw your post on my talk page and I wanted to reach out to you on what I can do and learn to be a better Wikipedia contributor. Thank you for your time! Sevvy413 (talk) 20:06, 27 September 2020 (UTC) Sevvy413 (talk) 20:06, 27 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

I just looked through a number of your edits. You seem to be getting the hang of it just fine, with just a few reverts, which I hope you're learning from. To improve, I suggest you do some 'source first' edits, where you have a reliable source in hand about a subject that is already on Wikipedia and see if the information from the source can be a useful addition to the appropriate article. This means going beyond the correcting of grammatical errors and other simple and often uncontroversial edits. It's time to be BOLD. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 21:43, 27 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
