Your recent changes edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Tahir-ul-Qadri. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. September 2011 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Tahir-ul-Qadri article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Help Desk". You can also leave a message on my talk page. Apparition11 Complaints/Mistakes 11:39, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

why my post removed from "Political career" Section? i have provided both primary as well as secondary references. ServingIslam (talk) 11:56, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

As the warning points out above, your post was a copyright violation. We cannot copy and paste (or even closely paraphrase) copyrighted material into Wikipedia. Apparition11 Complaints/Mistakes 11:59, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

thanks ServingIslam (talk) 12:10, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

No problem. I'm not saying that the information is inappropriate (I'm not familiar enough with the subject matter to give opinions like that), it's just definitely not appropriate to copy and paste it. If you were to summarize it into your own words, then I wouldn't have a problem with it. Apparition11 Complaints/Mistakes

Copyvio again edit

You may benefit from giving WP:COPYPASTE a read. It may better explain our copyright policy. I removed your last addition because it was also a WP:COPYVIO. It was copied from a source I mentioned in the edit summary. It just had a couple of words changed. This is not enough to get around it. It must be written completely in your own words. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri edit

Hello ServingIslam. This article is already a thorough analytical account of the key accomplishments in the life of Tahir-ul-Qadri. Because Tahir-ul-Qadri is a living subject it is inevitable that the article will occasionally need to be updated if and when he does new notable things. Yet you seem to want to add more detail to points that are already adequately described, explained and referenced. Overall, the article does not need so much detail and if you thought any existing section genuinely warranted more information, you could create a new page (a new article) dealing with that particular issue. Thanks and best wishes. GorgeCustersSabre (talk) 10:24, 1 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Minhaj Welfare Foundation edit

Hello again ServingIslam. Your edits to this article are, in essence, merely cut and paste from your sources without adequate paraphrasing and without regard to the neutral tone that you must seek to create. This is not appropriate. Wikipedia is an objective encyclopedia, not a hosting site for promotional material. You also need to be careful not to rely on sources that come from the subject of the article. You'll need neutral third-party sources. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Farid-ud-Din Qadri edit

The article Farid-ud-Din Qadri has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Being a speaker, poet and scholar, does not meet the criteria of WP:NACADEMIC, WP:POET and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
