So what is your opinion on the pie chart? To me, it is very obviously and intuitively logically flawed, but to be honest, I'm having difficulty identifying the exact reason.... Charles35 (talk) 17:14, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Well, now that I've given it some more thought (from more of a Wikipedia perspective)... It is original research / synth. The pie chart is essentially taking stats from various places that are saying nothing about breast cancer awareness (I'm speaking hypothetically - in reality there are no sources, but if there were, then this would be the scenario... either way it's OR/SYNTH). And it is using those stats to draw a conclusion that awareness for BC is lopsided compared to other diseases that have higher death rates. Plus, what does this even have to do with "Risks of too much awareness"? The pie chart is not in any way linked to the text. What do you think? Charles35 (talk) 01:04, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

As you can see in my user space, I marked the pie chart {{fact}} which results in . In my opinion, if the pie chart cannot be sourced to a reliable source then it should be removed as unreferenced. If it was me, I would tag the article pie chart with the {{Citation needed}} template with a date—{{Citation needed|{{subst:DATE}}}}—then leave it for a week. If no citation is provided after that, remove the pie chart. Alternatively, if you know who put it in, contact that editor on their talk page. I'm sure you know but in case you don't, type in {{Citation needed|{{subst:DATE}}}} exactly as it looks. The subst:DATE adds today's month and year automatically --Senra (talk) 01:51, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
