Great work! Here are some suggestions for how to improve:

In the introduction, I think you could better explain craniosynostosis and syndactyly in lay terms, rather than just hyperlinking.

I'd suggest you clarify the following phrases:

"When polydactyly is present, the classification is acrocephalopolysyndactyly."

--> Does this mean that you only need polydactyly to have this classification? I'm not quite sure what you mean by this sentence, maybe it could be rephrased.

" although prenatal diagnosis is possible if the mutation is known to be within the family genome."

---> it might be more clear to say something like: if there is a family history of this genetic mutation (or this disease)

" involves surgery in early childhood to correct for craniosynostosis  and syndactyly. "

----> how do they correct for it? Removing digits, separating them?

"Acrocephalosyndactyly presents in numerous different subtypes, however, considerable overlap in symptoms occurs"

---> Does this mean that there are many different subtypes of Acrocephalosyndactyl, each with different phenotypes or genotypes? I would mention here what makes the subtypes different: do they have different phenotypes or do they have mutations in different genes?

I hope these suggestions help! I would really appreciate it if you have time to leave a comment on our group's draft as well.
