BLOCKED: Colocation web host IP.
editSennekuyl (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 161.8.4.105. I believe it is because Australia has run out of IPv4 addresses & my ISP is utilising a VPN to accomodate its customers, or something similar. Sennekuyl (talk) 03:09, 24 May 2023 (UTC). Decline reason:
Well, I haven't heard someone say that before, though to be fair we do seem to be getting a lot of requests like this from Australia. I will have to decline procedurally because a) your account isn't directly blocked, so there's no block to lift and you can edit from other IPs, and b) lifting the rangeblock would be a rather challenging effort to make. It would work better for you, I think, to go over to WP:IPECPROXY and follow the instructions there to request IP block exemption so this doesn't happen again. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:50, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Article:Dravidian folk religion#Classification
editIn Dravidian folk religion#Classification there is a reference to 'Pope' that has no introduction nor indication of the relationship to the source, "Dravidian India" by T. R. Sesha Iyengar. Maybe someone knows which Pope is referenced or the peculiar source relationship? Personally I think there has been a mistake.
The offending sentence is:
"Pope believes that in the pre-historic period the Dravidian religion was a precursor to Shaivism and Shaktism."
The subsequent reference is: ^[13] which leads to "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dravidian_folk_religion#cite_note-14" -> 13. ^Iyengar, T. R. Sesha (1982), Dravidian India Asian Educational Services
Google Books doesn't list 1982 as a year that the work was updated. The closest year of published issues is 1986. I don't know who is incorrect. Sennekuyl (talk) 05:02, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
