Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Asyad Group edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Asyad Group, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. November 2023 edit

Hello Seham.balushi. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Asyad Group, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Seham.balushi. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Seham.balushi|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:48, 20 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I am definitly not getting paid to upload. I am marketing gradute who studied in the uk, who realised that Oman and its companies are not known, so my mission is to create awareness Seham.balushi (talk) 15:52, 20 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
I don't know what "getting paid to upload" means; that seems an oddly specific expression. So let me ask this once more, explicitly: are you employed by, or otherwise affiliated with, the Asyad Group or any associated company? This is not limited to paid employment, and does not only mean being employed to edit Wikipedia, but covers instead any sort of work relationship. Thank you, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:08, 20 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I work in a subsidary. Seham.balushi (talk) 16:25, 20 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
In that case, please make the paid-editing disclosure. Thank you. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:33, 20 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
For guidance, please consult WP:PAIDEDIT#How_to_disclose. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 16:38, 20 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hello can you pls help me, how to disclose, I am not getting paid to edit Seham.balushi (talk) 16:49, 20 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
What do you mean you're "not getting paid to edit"? You just said you work for this group. That's paid editing. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:05, 20 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
I meant they are not paying me specifically to create and edit the pages. Anyway, now I have added the paid element, can I edit? Seham.balushi (talk) 00:02, 21 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Seham.balushi, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as SKBalushi (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 06:11, 22 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I have one account only and I disclosed my company SKBalushi (talk) 15:46, 11 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Do you actually realise that you have replied, to a question put to Seham.balushi, using your SKBalushi account? Are you still saying that you have only one account, or would you like to revise that statement? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:55, 11 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yes because I have tried to cancel one account previously; I even used the template. But it got confusing. I am sure you can see in your records and check that. I would also appreciate your support in moving forward. SKBalushi (talk) 16:01, 11 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Is it possible to cancel the accounts so I start over. I tried to use the template but it is gettign crazy. as myself and colleague used these account, but she left SKBalushi (talk) 16:06, 11 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Hey man im josh – sorry to bother, but yours was the only admin name I could find on this page, so I'm hassling you (too lazy as I am to go look for the answer myself!). The user has two accounts, Seham.balushi and SKBalushi. I know it's not possible to close down an account, but is there anything they need to do to manage this situation, beyond stopping the use of one of the accounts? Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:17, 11 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
@SKBalushi: Are you saying that there is (or was) someone else operating these accounts along with you? TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 17:51, 11 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
There were two accounts. and we shared. we used a template to stop. But it is still working. I would like to keep one account: SkBalushi and delete the other. And upload about the company for approval. But not sure how to delete SKBalushi (talk) 01:15, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Accounts on Wikipedia cannot be deleted in the usual sense for technical and legal reasons. If you want to stop using the other account, I believe the most straightforward course of action would just be to jumble its password and log out on all your devices. I'd also recommend disclosing on your user page that you previously edited under that username, but no longer use it. Also, just to make it crystal clear, multiple people are not permitted to share an account. If your colleague would like to continue editing Wikipedia in the future, she will have to create an account of her own. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 01:32, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
So just for the record, the user seems to have retired this (Seham.balushi) account as of 21 November, whereas they have continued using the SKBalushi account multiple times since then. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:27, 30 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
