whats new?

Well i deleted my info edit

....how do you revert it back?

Actually, this is Asylum news, the user who's causing flak with the Asylum, is former name was Deadside_Legion, and apparently he's got a major chip on his shoulder, if you've been reading the Movie Gallery discussion it explains why. Short story: dude got pissed because GC could not get him his precious Final Fantasy 7, so he purposely "revealed" Asylum on the Movie Gallery article and is making libelous claims that the employees at GC hoard rare games and put them online.

Which I've investigated his claim, (he's from Kentucky, btw, he admitted it in Asylum before someone offed him, but I wish they had at least had Mr. A keep some hard evidence of his posts for us to submit to the mods here) I found out most of them were false, and actually speculative rumours from EB Games and Gamestop. Though I've tried to get his ass banned, apparently no one wants to do anything, I do have some history of his caustic nature here, if you want me to send it to you.

Anyhoo, not to worry, from time-to-time, I'll be checking this article, and if this guy starts altering the articles again, I'll simply revert them back to the proper article forms. All I can say is we can try reporting him, but all the Wikipedia admins want us to do is go through tedious channels to do it in. Like I said, I'm also in Asylum as well. I would give you some contact info, but I don't want Deadside finding it and harrassing me in the process. But just to let you know, I'm with you, and personally I wish this guy would just go and get a life.

Vandalism of User_talk:CanadianCaesar edit

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to [[:User_talk:CanadianCaesar]]. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. EdJohnston 21:44, 24 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps I was too harsh in marking your message to CanadianCaesar as vandalism. However it looks like you must be engaged in some kind of edit war with other contributors to the Movie Gallery page. I see a lot of harsh accusations and the word 'lies' being used. If you continue to use language like that, you may be banned from Wikipedia (see WP:CIVIL). Also I don't see you providing any real documentation of your statements. Inviting someone to send mail to some webmaster for confirmation does not count as verification for Wikipedia purposes. If you want to document somebody's corporate decision, I would at a minimum expect to see an actual quote of a policy statement, documented by a link to a specific page on that company's web site. If the decision was important, there will surely be a news article to cite. With respect to CanadianCaesar, you should be aware he has made no edits since September 4, and appears to be on a wiki holiday or even have left for good. Movie Gallery / GameCrazy / Asylum edit

(I dont know the Proper Channels of Reporting Vandalism so applogies in advance)

I have been made a Unofficial Representative of the Game Crazy: Asylum

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Movie_Gallery

Information that has been officially verified continues to be deleted and replaced with nothing more than lies by people who have a Vendetta against the Site and would like nothing more than to infuriate current members

The Information that should be up and mantained should read out like this

In 2004, Game Crazy started the Asylum program for frequent costumers who have MVP accounts. The inclusion to Asylum is a company decision, and a customer can not request to join. The only requirement to be accepted into Asylum seems to be accumulating a certain ammount of "points," by purchasing "high ranked," games. It offers an online message board, chatroom, and contests exclusive to members. Asylum is hyped as being a "secretive" club, taking quotes from the movie Fight Club to push its image of being private- however, this seems to be little more than an advertising gimmick as Asylum is not in any way a secret to Game Crazy employees or most customers. In addition, an Asylum page link exists in plain sight on the Game Crazy homepage although a Password and I.D. Tag Number is required to get any farther into the Sister Site.

anything else is to be considered False

Finally some headway.. and thanks for the help edit

I know exactly what you mean, I'm glad we've finally gotten someone to actually intervene. Personally, I figured out who 206.162.192.39 really is, because he once used to go to my store and cause flak over the poor quality of Sony Playstation games (before the store actually acquired a GENUINE buffing device over those shabby Game Doctors), and also disputed our return policy frequently.

Basically, whenever he can't get his way he goes off like a mad Tazmanian Devil. Confidentially, I'm surprised the Game Crazy he's going to didn't toss him out, because I heard he really made a stink in the store itself. Not smearing his name, just hearing how he acted, because they did inform him several times that FF7 was on backorder and it would be next-to-impossible for him to get it in brand new mint condition (apparently 206 DID get a FF7, but even after the GC guys buffed it and tested it out for him, he didn't want it -_-', this is how I immediately identified him.).

As for the entire online auction crap, apparently, like one of the employees there. One employee did have a FF7, but he purchased it when it had originally come out, and not 206's copy, as this person erroneously claimed. In fact, the employee offered to sell it to him for LESS than what GC was pricing it for, which ultimately shatters his claim about the online shilling of special ordered games.

And I also went to an admin here and explained the online claim is similar to blaming a race over just one person. Because technically I've heard some gaming store employees in general do tend to do this, but since 206 can't solely prove Game Crazy is exclusive to this claim, the online accusation was ommitted. The problem here, like with so many customers GC deals with, is this Joker can't let things go and either fails to realize, or is apathetic, towards the impending consequences of his actions.

But that's okay, we finally got Wikipedia to do something about it, and hopefully the article shall remain untouched afterwards.
