Copyright problem: Len Bailey

Copyright violation

Please stop simply cutting and pasting text from other sites. Really. It's not on. It's breaking numerous laws, and it makes it a royal pain in the backside for other editors to go around and clean up your mess. If you want to contribute then by all means read other sites, but you must make your contributions IN YOUR OWN WORDS. Then, once you have done so. Use proper inline citations to indicate where you got the information (information... not text) from. Someone has helpfully provided you with a few guidelines and other pages above, please read them. Good God Jump on My back why don't you , It it isnt/wasn't finished ,

Did you find any problem with the start I made on Alan Mann Racing or Sir Gawaine Baillie, I as you do this part time and if you give me a little time it will be rewritten I grant you that its is not the best but a little time would be Good.

Most of the data was got via public domain but it looks like everybody is copying that one article , I have started re writing , but have not finished yet.

Wikipedia articles should not be "drafts". If you want to start an article, start it in a Sandbox or write it off Wikipedia, then once you are finished and it is no longer a copyright violation, you can put it in article space. You should not simply copy someone else's work, save it to Wikipedia, then claim you're going to fix it later. It will be deleted.

Text on the internet is not in the public domain. Race results and statistics are in the public domain, yes, but not text.

And yes, your contributions to Alan Mann Racing and Sir Gawaine Baillie have also come under discussion. The359 (talk) 20:10, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

It wasn't the case that I was going to Fix It Later , The unfortunate thing was I was called away 10 minutes into the creation of the page, As I wanted to create a page with all the tools available and at the time of creation I had 2 hours to do so

I don't object to being pointed in the right direction ,the individual pieces of text once strung together came out close to that text and I can understand what you were doing, But as you could see there was reference to the Honker, Ford Fiesta Rally Car and F5000 car that is not in that original text

And one re-written it became my own work

I objected to being shouted at by a malignant thrust of a key board 'IN YOUR OWN WORDS' showing me there error of my ways and waiting to see the result would have been enough

As you said there needs to be reduction on the emphasis of F1 one on Wikipedia
