Appealing my block

Request reason:

I believe the reason for my block was very unreasonable. The reason given by administrator user:Kingboyk for my block is Sock account, bad choice of name for reasons of safety etc.

However, I will address the two issues:

1. SOCK ACCOUNT: Yes, I understand that this is a "sock" account. However, I went to the trouble of making the fact known on my user page (rather prominently too!). If there's any way for the administrators to look at deleted pages, it would, in #1 spot in my userboxes, show that I made it clear this was an "alternate account." I linked back to my main account, and I also put my account into the category for alternate accounts. I made it known to all Wikipedia that this was an alternate account used ONLY for editing my user:lovelaughterlife user page. See my contributions so far on this account. The only place where I have edited with this account was my own page on my main account.

2. BAD CHOICE OF NAME FOR REASONS OF SAFETY, ETC.: Yes, I do realize that my name isn't the greatest name for "safety," but I had freedom of choice for my name, as long as it is not profane. Would someone who places their occupation, their company or the city where they reside be blocked for placing their personal details in their name? My name is by no means profane or insulting, wouldn't you agree? If I chose to risk my safety by stating that I was one of the hundreds of millions of female high school students in the whole world, or even one of the 1000 female students in my school, then it would completely be my own risk to take. In addition, this account is not the account that I use to participate in Wikipedia work, therefore, it is not exposed. --Secondaryschoolgirl 23:37, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
