Anarchy Online edit

GA nominations go through a different route actually, but I went through and handled the process for ya. Keep an eye on the talk page and someone should come by and give you a review.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 21:23, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Kung Fu, I didn't know there was a seperate review page for GA. Sebquantic (talk) 21:48, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Anarchy Online edit

Anarchy Online was nominated for Good Article review, and the person that nominated, User:Kung Fu Man it says that it is not his article but yours and that your are the one who will read the Good Article review and make the necessary fixes. If this is true, go to Talk:Anarchy Online/GA1‎ and respond to my comments about the article. Otherwise, the article will fail. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. Regards, —Mattisse (Talk) 23:17, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Just to let you know that the seven day deadline is somewhat flexible as long as you are progressing on the article. Great to have you working on it! Regards, —Mattisse (Talk) 16:39, 19 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Amon edit

Hi. I'm afraid I've been wrestling with my computer OS recently, and haven't had any time to work on the discography page. I'll try to get back to it within the week. Good luck on the GA :) -- Quiddity (talk) 20:01, 16 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your GA nomination of Amon Tobin edit

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know I am glad to be reviewing the article Amon Tobin you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria.   This process may take up to 10 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. – Ms. Sarita Confer 21:47, 26 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Amon Tobin edit

No, thank you for this edit. That was much more work than anything I have done to the article, and the reason it got to GA class in the first place. If you ever want to improve it even further, just let me know (I've still been making little tweaks here and there to the article). Rtyq2 (talk) 17:45, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Anarchy sources edit

I'm not yet convinced that allvatar (the original German source) is reliable. German Wikipedia has never heard of it, and I haven't found any other major sites or news outlets that recommend or really even mention it in any way. A different allvatar page is referenced in a book, but I've no idea how reliable that is. They haven't been around long enough (only since 2006, and probably less than that) to be reliable by time alone. It can't be written off as self-published, either—it makes claims about third parties, I've no idea if the editors have written for other reliables, etc. Their editor page says nothing of their prior projects or their editing practices (if any). Not that interview-by-irc is a bad thing, but I've not seen any reliable sites that do that, either.

As long as I can't tell that allvatar is reliable, there's no hope for aoc.curse.com—that one depends on allvatar's "cred", so it should probably be removed.  :( --an odd name 11:25, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your GA nomination of Ars Technica edit

DivX vs. DIVX (Digital Video Express) edit

I removed your entry in the DivX article because it belongs in the DIVX (Digital Video Express) article. The company DivX, Inc., and the video codec of the same name, have nothing to do with the all caps DIVX that refers to the DVD copy protection format. Your GA nomination of Fat Freddy's Drop edit

FFD edit

Congratulations on the GA pass for Fat Freddy's Drop. Let's get their discography up to FL-class now! The main things that need doing are referencing, filling in the music video details, and a bit of MoS work. Adabow (talk) 07:39, 9 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Europa Barbarorum edit

Hi there. I notice that you were involved in this article's peer review and was wondering whether you could help me with it again. I have recently given it a bit of a re-write, trying to stick to the guidance provided at VGPR of broadening the audience and so forth, but would be very grateful if you could read over the article and tell me whether I have actually achieved these aims (after all, after reading over one's own work too many times, one can get somewhat lost in it and require the assistance of a fresh pair of eyes). I am conscious that I have not yet addressed the reliable sourcing issue—I am working on it—but for the time being, could you just have a look at the article prose and tell me whether any of it needs to be cut etc.? Because, after all, why bother accurately referencing a sentence that will just get cut at GAN anyway? Thanks in advance. It Is Me Here t / c 17:01, 13 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
