AfD nomination of Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy's Big Picture Show edit

I have nominated Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy's Big Picture Show, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy's Big Picture Show. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Maui, Oahu, Big Island or Kaui? edit

I might have a chance to go to Hawaii. I have always wanted to. And im only 11 :/ but hey which island do you think is the best choice. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seanyboy nazz (talkcontribs) 20:28, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

It depends what you are looking for, but if you can, try to go "island hopping" - spend a few days on each one. If you can't do that, some people will stay in a hotel on one island, but will get up really early for a morning flight to another island, spend the whole day there, and take the last flight back to the island where they are staying. This works really well for visiting Oahu and Kauai, but not so well for the Big Island and Maui. Maui and the Big Island usually require more than one day of stay due to their size. One of the drawbacks to doing this is that the last flight back is generally pretty early, i.e. before 9 pm. This makes it impossible to attend shows like a luau or other cultural event and then race back to the airport. It seems designed to keep people on one island so that they have to get a hotel room for the night. Viriditas (talk) 00:34, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Sound Control (album) edit

A tag has been placed on Sound Control (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. October 2009 edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Sound Control (album). Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. MuffledThud (talk) 17:37, 23 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
