editHi Sdjkl1. There's a new Arbcom editing restriction that affects you - WP:ARBPIA3: "All anonymous IP editors and accounts with less than 500 edits and 30 days tenure are prohibited from editing any page that could be reasonably construed as being related to the Arab-Israeli conflict." You are currently at 22 edits so please refrain from editing these types of articles until you have more edits in other areas. Thank you. Please carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions. When Other Legends Are Forgotten (talk) 23:24, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
Appeasement
editThere is a distinct difference between the international community taking no action concerning the Italian invasion of Ethiopia , and their giving in to the territorial demands of Hitler in the hope of avoiding another war. In retrospect, they are both action which promoted the possibility of another war, but only the latter is "appeasement." I suggest you check a dictionary, or, at the very least, do a little nore reading on the period between the wars in Europe. In any event, your categorization is not supported by a reliable source, and if you add it again without such a source, it will be removed again. BMK (talk) 10:12, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
- Britain and France appeased Italy until 1940. Mussolini invading Ethiopia was no different than Hitler invading the Sudetenland. (Sdjkl1 (talk) 13:34, 27 November 2015 (UTC))
