Well, the document is talking about authorised plans by the Turkish Armed Forces it is not mere speculation. Please read the document fully. There is nothing unrealistic about the plans, since the TuAF currently has 500 combat aircraft in it's inventory.

Can you please provide a document which rebuts the above, until then you cannot disclaim or reject the thesis numbers on the basis that you believe it to be wrong. The US Naval College does not allow any discreptancies nor does it allow its students to make false assertions. Two very high ranking US Officers have also checked the validity and accuracy of the thesis, including its references before allowing it to be published. There is also that many Turkish media reports confirming the acquisitions and also statements made by the Turkish Chief of the General Staff.
