Where the problem lies

"My perspectives and my thought are MY OWN, so citing my "sources" is irrelevant."

This indicates you have no idea what Wiki is about or how it works and also that you're in for a very bumpy and uncomfortable ride here.

"I wish I had a better understanding of how to write people directly--it's less-than-optimal to place my comments here."

This indicates you have no idea how it works and you would do well to spend some time learning about how Wiki works before jumping on your soapbox.
