Karen S. Davis edit

For searching, readers will come across Karen Davis which contains what we call a hat note directing those looking for the person with the same name to a page listing all the entries. I added an entry for this Davis there. For the categories, they all appeared to be showing up to me. But I did add a sorting template that means she will now show up under D for Davis. You might not have seen her on the first page, as some categories are large and you need to click on the "(next 200)" part to see more entries. On a related note, when putting articles in categories, only place them in the child category, not both the child and parent. For instance you would place a person only in "American editors" and not both "Editors" and "American editors", since being in the subcat means they are also in the parent cat. I think I only saw this once, but it prevents over categorization. Happy editing. Aboutmovies (talk) 06:27, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
