Your user name edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "ScribesoftheWorld", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it appears to represent a corporation rather than an individual person. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. --Diannaa (talk) 00:33, 14 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Diannaa, ScribesoftheWorld is my nickname I've had for many, many years. And yes, plural, because it was given to me by a young Colombian friend back years and years ago in Santa Marta, who didn't speak very good English and it was such a BIG word and vision that it didn't matter that is was scribes and I was a scribe! There is absolutely nothing promotional about it nor meant to be. It is a name I remember and it makes me feel good as it is surrounded with many good memories for me of days of laughter and kindness and fun. I guess I can see what you are thinking, but it is not a business that I know of, or team of people or any of the things you reference, I'm sorry if this offends you–am I suppose to give it up b/c someone thinks it might be commercial when it's not? Isn't Wikipedia supposed to be about honest people coming together to present great facts or people or places or companies in the world…? Hope I am doing this right ScribesoftheWorld (talk) 00:53, 14 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
