Your addition of Big Brother 8 to previous seasons edit

Hi, I reverted your attempts to add Big Brother 8 to the previous Big Brother seasons as it broke the standard template. If you need to make changes to the season template, you would edit Template:Big Brother US seasons and the changes will automatically propagate to all articles that include it. However, please be careful of your edits and try to use the Show preview button. Your edits to Survivor: Fiji broke the table and were also reverted. -- Gogo Dodo 00:59, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I have removed most of the blank sections in Big Brother 8, and also removed speculation and some inaccuracies. Please make sure that the information you add is verifiable. Thanks. --Maxamegalon2000 01:42, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your edits to Big Brother 8 confuse me. Why are you removing the source of the information, and adding sections that are either blank or speculative? --Maxamegalon2000 01:57, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please respond to my question, and explain your edits to Big Brother 8. Also, I redirected Survivor Fiji Islands, which is not the correct title of the show. --Maxamegalon2000 02:31, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Survivor: Fiji. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Maxamegalon2000 23:13, 3 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Big Brother 1 (US) page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --Maxamegalon2000 03:17, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Survivor 16 edit

An editor has nominated Survivor 16, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Survivor 16 and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Recent Survivor edits edit

Two things: 1) I strongly recommend using the PREVIEW button to verify your edits instead of submitted 10 or so consecutive edits fixing small things each time. The preview will show you what the page will look like and then the editing area below it so you can make changes. 2) There are certain formats that the Survivor seasons have followed that your edits are changing, as well as introducing information not yet aired in an episode. I've reverted these to keep articles consistent and spoiler free. --Masem 01:22, 4 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's great that you have such an interest in Survivor and contributing to Wikipedia, but I just a remind you to please not add information about upcoming episodes until they have aired. Your changes to episode 6 of Survivor: Fiji have been removed for this reason. Also, your footnote about somebody being voted out on Day 15 is would not normally be included anyways. It has been customary on previous Survivor articles to not note how many days are covered in a particular episode. Lastly, for contestants already voted off, customary practice is to leave their would-have-been-if-they-were-around tribe associations as empty. You can look at the previous season, Survivor: Cook Islands, to see what I mean. Thanks. -- Gogo Dodo 22:44, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD Nomination: List of Big Brother (USA-Season 8) Houseguests edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that List of Big Brother (USA-Season 8) Houseguests meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Big Brother (USA-Season 8) Houseguests. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. Mrmoocow 05:43, 17 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

White Knoll High School edit

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article White Knoll High School, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Your user page edit

Hello. I've noticed that your user page appears to violate a number of Wikipedia guidelines. Among other things, Wikipedia:User page says that you should generally avoid "Games, roleplaying sessions, and other things pertaining to 'entertainment' rather than 'writing an encyclopedia,' particularly if they involve people who are not active participants in the project" and content "designed to functionally substitute for articles or Wikipedia space pages". It appears that a majority of the content of your user page falls into one of these two categories.

Your user page appears to copy content contained at the following pages:

This content is redundant, and its placement on your user page seems to serve no purpose towards helping the Wikipedia project. According to Wikipedia:User page, "pages kept in userspace should not be designed to functionally substitute for articles or Wikipedia space pages," and "this space is not intended to indefinitely archive your preferred version of disputed or previously deleted content."

Your user page also contains what appears to be three "fantasy" seasons of Survivor, and one of The Amazing Race. This content also appears to serve no encyclopedic purpose. Also, some of the characters you have created appear to be based on living people who you are acquainted with. This content could raise privacy or defamation concerns, and I strongly advise you not to discuss people unaffiliated with Wikipedia on your user page, especially in a fictitious presentation.

On your user page, you state that "This table may NOT be deleted." However, "pages in user space still do belong to the community," and "material that does not somehow further the goals of the project may be removed." If you have material that you do not wish for others to edit, or that is otherwise inappropriate for Wikipedia, it should be placed on a personal web site. I would not be as concerned about your user page if it did not account for 1755 of your 2202 edits since you started editing in February. It seems that you are more focused on working on your user page than working on improving the encyclopedia, and while those two are not necessarily mutually exclusive, they appear to be in this case. I personally recommend that you modify your user page to better conform to Wikipedia guidelines, or this could be done for you in the future. Thanks. --Maxamegalon2000 23:48, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
