February 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Maria Kirilenko do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:16, 16 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Dion Phaneuf. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Resolute 13:43, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Mario Andretti, you will be blocked from editing. Royalbroil 03:04, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Roy Halladay, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. ccwaters (talk) 13:40, 3 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Blocked edit

You have been blocked for a period of two weeks from editing for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

I've blocked you for continuing to add WP:SPAM links to articles' external links. I note that you have previously been blocked for this, so have no hesitation in re-blocking you. When your block expires I hope you will contribute constructively. In the meantime I strongly recommend that you familiarise yourself with WP:SPAM and WP:EL to avoid making the mistakes again. As you'll have noticed, the block duration increases each time.

August 2010 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for spamming or advertising. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. ... discospinster talk 00:29, 7 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
