File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Aerial Shot of Campbell Law.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Aerial Shot of Campbell Law.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 05:04, 30 January 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 05:04, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Campbell Law School.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Campbell Law School.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ww2censor (talk) 05:04, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest edit

If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 13:55, 23 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

You also uploaded an image over another image. You should not upload your image in place of another image. Just upload it separately and change the article to include the new image. It seems that you do not take our copyright rules seriously. We only provide FREE content, and your uploads currently are clearly copyright violations of non-free released images. (I'm guessing university publicity photographs). Unless the university releases them under an acceptable license on their website, or submits a permissions clearance to en-permissions at wikipedia.org we cannot use such photographs. If you need help, please use the advice in the first thee lines of the welcome banner of this page. —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 14:04, 23 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

I do respect the copy right laws, the pictures are my own that I own. The current picture is way out of date, the entire campus has moved to a new location. I did not realize I loaded the picture over another picture. I thought I had done it correctly, but that picture is the correct picture that should be placed in order for this page to be accurate and up to date. I do not have a conflict on interest. I have only made so many corrections and updates because the campus has changed so much over the last 2 years that this page was WAY outdated and infringed on copyright laws by being so far out of date.

License tagging for File:Building 1.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Building 1.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:11, 26 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please explain how I get that imaged tagged so it will not be removed. The right correct building image keeps getting replaced with an image that is NOT the picture of Campbell Law School, and looks absurd to be on there as the picture. I own the rights to the photo, I am not sure how to insert the tag.
