Notability of Stinky pinky edit
A tag has been placed on Stinky pinky requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Stinky pinky. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. Your recent edits edit
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button

The next time you make a personal attack as you did at User talk:Jclemens, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Frustration over speedy deletion edit
I am sorry your article did not meet the requirements for new articles. It is intensely frustrating. I hope that you will continue to learn about Wikipedia, an improve it by editing. Once the band achieves wp:notability, you will be ready to create its article. Or, you might begin working on it in a sandbox. - You don't seem to understand that our individual opinions on whether or not an article is important don't matter a great deal, except when working to form a wp:consensus. The consensus about whether or not bands are notable enough to be included is covered at the link you have been given more than once. Please go there, and understand. The band may be terribly popular and altogether wonderful. Indeed, it could be the founder's favorite band, and if it had not achieved wp:notability it would not have a Wikipedia article.sinneed (talk) 07:29, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
