Your message on my talk page edit

Hi Scaniaman188, I'm sorry to hear your account was hacked. I'm also sorry that you felt the message I left on your talk page was harsh. Since you're new around here I can see how that may seem to be the case. However, the message is an automated template used to warn users who have repeatedly vandalized pages. Your account had been used to edit that particular page at least 6 times in a short period of time, therefore it was warranted. If you didn't make those disruptive edits then please don't take it personally, as it was intended for whomever was making those edits. So, welcome to wikipedia, I hope you decide to stay around and help with our efforts on this project. Best of luck! C1776MTalk 14:28, 27 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Stirling Moss edit

Hi. I deleted your addition to the Stirling Moss article as it was, in the literal sense, trivial. Since the 1950s Moss has been trading on his name and reputation, and in doing so he makes tens – possibly even hundreds, in years past – of public appearances each year. Singling out just one occurrence in an article that is supposed, in only a few thousand words, to summarize his whole life is unhelpful and creates uninformative clutter. If you include his Classic Motor Show appearances, why not his Autosport Show appearances, or his appearances at the Goodwood Festival of Speed or Revival Meeting, or his appearances at foreign shows and race meetings? Quite apart from the trvial, crufty nature of the addition, it was also entirely unsourced. If you want to write about Moss's public appearances or commercial endorsements then it would be better to find a couple of reliable sources that do this, and then use them to add a concise, balanced and broad section to the Moss article that sets these activities in context. Recent edits to Monarch Airlines edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Monarch Airlines, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you!
