Thanks a lot. I was wondering though, how do you publish a new page? I tried to submit one, but it didn't do anything.

Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Wings of Fire (novel series). Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 10:59, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

O.k. I thought it would help people want to publish it. Sry, Scalyhawk121534 (talk) 18:41, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Nice! Hope all is well your way. Red Director (talk) 21:33, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

November 2020: Please read the welcome section above

edit

That section is specifically for newer editors like you. It contains a wealth of information about editing Wikipedia. For instance, you contributed your own personal knowledge to a couple of articles, and it was promptly reverted because all contributions must cite a reliable source. Citations must be made according to the standard of Wikipedia, that is, inline citations, which are easy if you read about them at that link before you try one. Happy reading, and I hope, happy editing as well.--Quisqualis (talk) 02:48, 1 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ok. How would I add a citation based off of a wrapper, for example, my Abba-Zaba editing? Scalyhawk121534 (talk) 04:42, 1 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Not. What you would need to find is a published article about the candy in what is considered a reliable source, and cite that. David notMD (talk) 10:30, 1 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ohh... So there is literally no way to cite a wrapper... Ok Scalyhawk121534 (talk) 04:56, 2 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

In case you think Wikipedia is like social media...

edit

Its purpose is not to make friends and chat, because Wikipedia is a serious encyclopedia. Basically, people on Wikipedia discuss making Wikipedia better, and don't seek out friendships, although friendships are not discouraged if they happen to develop in the course of improving Wikipedia. Just so you know.--Quisqualis (talk) 02:54, 1 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ok. I wasn't trying to make it be like a social media, but I did want to welcome people to wiki. Scalyhawk121534 (talk) 04:40, 1 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Some editors put one of the several available welcome templates on new editors' Talk pages after those new editors have been making several or more edits, with this being more likely when those new editors have been making some of the common new-editor mistakes. The function is not just welcome, but rather welcome-and-here-are-the-guidelines.
Newly registered editors that have made no edits are not sent a welcome. Too soon. There are people who try to disrupt or game Wikipedia by using multiple accounts, or creating 'sleeper' accounts they can activate if indefinitely blocked on an existing account for bad behavior such as undeclared paid editing, vandalism and sockpuppets. David notMD (talk) 10:36, 1 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Huh. 👌 got it. Thanks for all the help. From all of the editors that have been helping me. Scalyhawk121534 (talk) 04:59, 2 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Scratch (programming language), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Ahmetlii (talk) 13:21, 8 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello my brother (or maybe sister) I saw your post on Red Director’s talk page about the fact your a fellow believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. I was wondering if you had any Prayer requests? PS. It’s good to see a another young person on Wikipedia as well. Since I’m only 15. Thanks and God bless. Angus. AngusMacintosh (talk) 00:16, 17 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi! And as of now, I only have one prayer request, and that is, well, I keep having these recurring headaches, which have been going on now for over 2-3 weeks. They are really annoying, and they impair my ability to think, and they often make me nauseous. So ya, no good. I would be your brother, and I'im 14. Thanks for asking!
