May 2012 edit

I have reverted your edits to Mandevilla because you did not cite any sources, and because the material was largely a guide to growing Mandevilla. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, it is not a how-to guide or manual. Articles should describe their subject, but should not provide advice to the reader. -- Donald Albury 00:28, 31 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have made corrections, so it is no longer a how to. I am a Gardner, so I cited my Wikipedia account, as I did not wish to use my name.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Sbane5001 (talkcontribs)

Please read the policy at Wikipedia:Verification, which requires that material added to Wikipeida be verifiable from reliable published sources. You cannot cite your personal knowledge or what others tell you, that is No original research|original research, which is not allowed. As part the requirement for verifiability, no part of Wikipedia itself may be used as a source. Please sign any comments on talk pages by placing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your comment. This will add your user name, the date and the time at the end of your comment. -- Donald Albury 13:22, 31 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Beanie Weenie's edit

The article Beanie Weenie's has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable food dish.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Response edit

Hi, I respect your opinion that this is a non notable dish, how ever that's your opinion. People love this dish, and July 13 is a holiday dedicated to it. I am still updating this and trying to figure out how to upload a couple pictures with my iPad. Previouse uploads have been done with my defunct computer. Collection of information on this subject is hard, but I'm hoping to contribute a collection of facts from multiple sources. Providing a comprehensive exploration that has not yet existed on here.Sbane5001 (talk) 04:35, 30 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
