But the thing is, the speakers of this dialect of Sindhi are Hindu, unlike the rest who are Muslims. And their language is written in the Devanagari script, where Sindhi is usually written in the Arabic script. So that is why I created the draft for Sindhi Bhil. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Tichla Fortress.png

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Tichla Fortress.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.google.com/maps/place/Tichla+Fortress/@21.5996046,-14.9668953,3a,130.4y/data=!3m8!1e2!3m6!1sAF1QipOdYbbQqa6KiglKUOzahGBcZSQjDANSbfiRymK_!2e10!3e12!6shttps:%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com%2Fp%2FAF1QipOdYbbQqa6KiglKUOzahGBcZSQjDANSbfiRymK_%3Dw166-h86-k-no!7i567!8i293!4m5!3m4!1s0xe9de0e1ebde5c71:0xf6cf70ba759c01d2!8m2!3d21.5993513!4d-14.9669266. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Tichla Fortress.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Tichla Fortress.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.google.com/maps/place/Tichla+Fortress/@21.5996046,-14.9668953,3a,130.4y,90t/data=!3m8!1e2!3m6!1sAF1QipOdYbbQqa6KiglKUOzahGBcZSQjDANSbfiRymK_!2e10!3e12!6shttps:%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com%2Fp%2FAF1QipOdYbbQqa6KiglKUOzahGBcZSQjDANSbfiRymK_%3Dw166-h86-k-no!7i567!8i293!4m5!3m4!1s0xe9de0e1ebde5c71:0xf6cf70ba759c01d2!8m2!3d21.5993513!4d-14.9669266.

Hello SavageBWiki! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 21:27, 18 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please read and understand the above message, especially the bolded part of the message. The image you uploaded is not freely licensed and has already been deleted previously as a copyright violation. Do not upload this again. If you have questions about media copyright, you can post at Media Copyright Questions. -- Whpq (talk) 21:30, 18 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Mirrors

edit

Thanks for contributing to the article Aksai Chin. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Hoax articles

edit

I came to warn you again about using clearly identified Wikipedia mirrors as sources, but I'm pretty concerned about the completely fabricated articles at Draft:War in North Texas, Draft:Sehristan and Draft:Sehristan Liberation Organization. I've deleted those. This appears to be something you've been warned about and even blocked over previously. I've locked this account until you can explain yourself. Kuru (talk) 01:37, 27 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Those "articles" were a myth I showed to my friends. They were and are not actually real. And how do I know what are Wikipedia mirrors and what are not? And I don't even know what Wikipedia mirrors I edited into a article. This is my understanding of this situation. SavageBWiki (talk) 01:52, 27 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
You can't write articles on fictitious events or entities or do any sort writing of alternative history. There are forums and websites devoted to that stuff but it is inappropriate here. Liz Read! Talk! 01:56, 27 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ok, I didn't know, could you please unblock me now? SavageBWiki (talk) 02:50, 27 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
There have been other cases of creating and publishing articles about fake events such as Battle of Kryvyi Rih (2022), Draft:Battle of Zaporizhzhia filling the article with fake news then repeatedly reverting when other uses attempt to delete the article [1], [2], [3], which has already led to postings on this talk page before about sanctions in effect on Eastern European articles. So the idea that it's just to show people seems odd when you publish it on Wiki. 2804:14C:8781:8673:6B8C:50E7:C638:EC36 (talk) 15:42, 28 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
The person who merged the article Battle of Kryvyi Rih told me I needed to edit it more because it lacked enough information. I wrote "around the city of Kryvyi Rih" and Russian forces didn launch a offensive into Zaporozhye according to Ukraine. There is no indication of "hoax" or "fake" information. By the way, why are you telling me this stuff when you haven't even see my other contributions. And the reason why those Seristan things were in draft and weren't sent to AFC submissions was because it was private. How is it hoax when no one is going to see it because first it is in draft and second they aren't even submitted. SavageBWiki (talk) 21:35, 28 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Flag of Sehristan.png

edit

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as File:Flag of Sehristan.png, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

Hey there! I am not an admin, however, I can help you by giving you the WP:SO.
Basically, don't edit here for half of a year (six months), then begin to become a regular on places such as the Simple English Wikipedia, where after six months you can request an unblock. After that, you may show them that you 1) know why your edits were disruptive, 2) show them that you have done constructive edits on the simple english wiki, and then 3) promise that you can and will do better. Cheers! Fakescientist8000 18:55, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

To request an unblock you will need to deploy {{Unblock}}. To achieve an unblock you will need to acknowledge why you were blocked, and show genuine contrition. An admin will make a judgement based upon the evidence before them. Fakescientist8000 goves you soe constructive ideas. My advice is "Do not do anything wrong there" if you accept their pointers.
Your track record shows WP:NOTHERE, so you have a self created mountain to climb. Your throwaway request to be unblocked does not bode well for unblocking. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 19:01, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
