December 2020 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Diego Jourdan has been reverted.
Your edit here to Diego Jourdan was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwwkwZr2VfA&feature=emb_logo, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Wec1CFQuiE&feature=emb_logo) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 03:34, 6 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Block on range edit

This range wasn't blocked randomly: there has been extensive vandalism from a longterm vandal. Please see Wikipedia:IP block exemption on how to get around this--and sorry for the inconvenience. Drmies (talk) 15:31, 14 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'm not a vandal, but a user in good faith. Blocks don't need to be as wide. Sauricha (talk) 17:00, 14 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi Sauricha,
Sometimes, we have to block a wide IP range, if the long-term disruption is severe enough and the IP range they have access to is large. Sometimes, this is necessary even if it affects good faith editors like you. Above, Drmies made it clear he knows you aren't a vandal, and directed you to Wikipedia:IP block exemption, where it discusses ways to get around this. Floquenbeam (talk) 18:05, 14 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Indeed, I have issued an exemption appeal. Sauricha (talk) 18:07, 14 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I see. In the old days, this was done on-wiki, and I didn't see a request. I see now that we've moved to using UTRS, so that isn't visible to me. Hope this is resolved soon. Floquenbeam (talk) 18:11, 14 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest edit

Greetings. Pursuant to WP:COICOIN, this is my reaching out to you with concerns that you have a conflict of interest with either the entity known as Skyhorse Publishing and/or the author Diego Jourdan. Of particular concern is that your account has repeatedly attempted to add inconsequential references to Skyhorse products with contributions by Diego Jourdan on multiple articles about the works of A. A. Milne. These include here in January 2024: [1], and here in May 2023: [2]. The former was removed by another editor, and the latter was removed by me today. You also are a prolific editor of the Wikipedia article on Diego Jourdan, and have added references to him on articles such as Roald Dahl revision controversy and Roald Dahl: [3].

Please note that Wikipedia has guidelines for disclosure of an account with an interest in the subject matter or content posted. Zkidwiki (talk) 18:52, 12 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for writing Zkidwiki. You concern is duly noted, but rest easy. There is no conflict of interest.
As for how "inconsequential" these references may be, it seems a purely subjective assessment. Sauricha (talk) 22:27, 30 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
