Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Saurav.webkul. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. Editing for the purpose of advertising or promotion is not permitted. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 08:59, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

May 2018 edit

  Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 04:45, 14 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

June 2018 edit

Despite your making minor edits which add citations to articles on various topics, it is clear that your purpose here is to use Wikipedia to publicise or advertise Webkul. No doubt you are aware that there have been numerous previous attempts to do so, on pages with more than one title, all of which have been deleted. The subject has been discussed, and there is a clear consensus that it is not suitable to be the topic of a Wikipedia article. Several accounts which were used for the same purpose are blocked. This account, whether operated by the same person as one or more of those earlier accounts or by a different person working for the same business, is being used to evade the blocks on those accounts, and to use Wikipedia for promotion. Both of those purposes are forbidden by Wikipedia policy, and either of them alone would be sufficient ground for your account to be blocked from editing without further warning. Instead of doing that, I am giving you one more warning now. If you continue to use Wikipedia for any kind of promotion, or to continue the kind of editing made by other accounts which represented the same business, you are likely to be blocked from editing. (Note: I am at present making a personal decision not to block your account, but that does not preclude the possibility of another administrator taking a different view and blocking the account, nor does it tie me to not blocking you in the future.) Also, any future account working for the same business is liable to be blocked without warning. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:30, 27 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
