Mandy Moore's single Hey! edit

I have noticed that you have done a lot of work on the mandy moore article. Can you tell me which album is the Hey! song on. I love the song, i think it's amazing.

Well seeing as you didn't leave your signature and I presume you may read my page again, the song "Hey!" by Mandy Moore was a demo song and can only be found on her official website. — Sarz 07:45, 27 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Defending Mandy Moore edit

Mandy Moore edit

Actually, what I said was that it looks better with the format I used (i.e. bold shading for year-title-etc.). The other editor didn't put in a full filmography, they just changed the format/shading. that's what I was talking about and changed back. JackO'Lantern 05:37, 16 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Image Tagging for Image:SeanKingsize.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:SeanKingsize.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Lost (TV series) edit

I notice that you have replaced all of the subtitles (e.g. <big>'''subtitle''') in the lost article with true headers. Please engage in the discussion before doing this. The headers were altered as part of an effort to reduce the length of the article's table of contents as recommended in a peer review. I am not sure that this is the best way to achieve this and would welcome any thoughts you have on the matter.--Opark 77 11:50, 27 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Pink-trythis.jpg edit

  This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Pink-trythis.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 22:47, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Non-free use disputed for Image:Five iygd.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Five iygd.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:01, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Five gh.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Five gh.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 23:10, 11 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
