Potential admin
Hi, I notice you're on Wikipedia:List of administrator hopefuls. Wikipedia would benefit from more admins. If you have been editing for more than 12 months (preferably 24+ months), and have been editing fairly consistently for the past 6 months (preferably 12+ months) with at least 100 edits a month (this tool will help) - or an explanation for any gaps, and haven't been blocked in the past three years - or a good explanation for a recent block, don't have a recent history of edit warring or arguing with other editors, feel you can explain why you wish to be an admin, can demonstrate some understanding of Wikipedia's procedures and processes, or know where to go for guidance, and are confident enough to go through a RfA, please get in touch with me. We can talk about it some more, and if all looks OK, I'll nominate you. SilkTork ✔Tea time 09:25, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- @SilkTork: Thank you for your appreciable response. There is no doubt that I'm interested in being an administrator on the English Wikipedia. I'm here on Wikipedia from last one year and have made nearly 7,000 edits which includes more than 40 articles. I know my these contributions are not that enough for the Wikimedia Foundation but begin an administrator I can be an assist to Wikipedia and can help a lot of contributors from the Republic of India and other nations. I've a good understanding of several local languages spoken in India, including English (I've made typo error but corrected once I noticed it) which is a positive point while helping volunteers on IRC channels. I never had any arguments over Wikipedia since I always try to resolve the issues by discussing the matters on the editor's or the article's talk page. Another thing, in the beginning of my contribution I made several mistakes which included nomination of Afds merely with no reliable references. If you still think I can be helpful to Wikipedia you can nominate my name. Thanks! — CutestPenguinHangout 14:03, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- Cool. Let's chat further here. SilkTork ✔Tea time 11:42, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
