Food Processing Page Critique

• Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you?

Miscellaneous facts are listed in history section that distracts readers from core discussion. However, in ‘Benefit’s section, reason or evidence behind food additive’s less susceptibility to spoilage is not at all mentioned. Some of the citation in “drawback” page is missing, which leads to distraction of readers. Trends in modern food processing lacks contents heavily.

• Is the article neutral? Are there any claims, or frames, that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?

Claim of frozen food ‘credited to Clarence Birdseye” has not been given reasonable frame, and opinionated. “ Performance parameters for food processing has not been given reasonable evidence to prove that those are in fact the parameters of food processing success. Entire section of “De-agglomerating batter mixes in food processing” is arbitrary topic that is helpful to understand the topic, but not worth enough to have a whole new section. Finalizing the topic(Aquaponics)

edit

1. There are very few contents on Aquaponics page in Wikipedia. The article is correctly rated starter class for the project scale. Therefore, more contents regarding aquaponics should be added.

2. Contents regarding recent practices of aquaponics, and companies that uses such technologies can be added.

3. relevant books: 1) Sustainable Agriculture and food 2) Sustainable Agriculture, Poverty and Food Security (S.S. Acharya) 3) Urban Farms (Rich) 4) Breaking through concrete ( Hanson) 5) Farming in the city 6) Farm City 7) Agriculture in Urban Planning (Mark Redwood) 8) Agriculture in the city (Cruz) 9) The vertical farm ( Dr. Dickson Despommier) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sangwonlee48 (talkcontribs) 11:27, 27 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Other companies such as Aeroponicsgrowing, Tower garden provide infrastructure to grow food indoor in smaller scale for residential and experimental uses.
