Hello, Samiksha529, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hi. It's largely up to you how you want to draft your contributions. If there's a section of the article you want to modify, then you can copy that section into your sandbox, make the changes, and then copy it back into the article. Make sure you click the edit button before you copy anything (otherwise the formatting isn't copied properly).

On the other hand, if you just want to add a new section to an article, you don't have to copy anything from the article. Just use your sandbox to draft your additions, and when you're done, copy it back into the existing article. (Again, make sure you click the edit button before you copy anything.) Thank you Ian for helping me. I moved the entire article into my sandbox and working there. I hope I am on the right track with my editing. Samiksha529 (talk) 17:03, 15 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
