Deaf WikiProject

edit

Thanks for adding your name — there are now eight names on the project. What are your thoughts on if (and when) we should make it official, and move it from my namespace? Please respond to the open forum at User talk:Ntennis/Deaf WikiProject proposal. Thanks! ntennis 02:12, 15 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Deaf-mute

edit
MANY THANKS for your comments on Talk:The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter! There has been a persistent user who has repeatedly reverted "deaf" to "deaf-mute". So far two of us have reverted it back to "deaf". If others could please put The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter (or any other article with "deaf-mute", including Babel) on your watchlist and revert when necessary, I think it would have a much bigger impact. Just be careful not to violate the 3-revert-rule. As I'm writing this, these articles are OK, but the persistent reverter probably will strike again. As always, many thanks. Note regarding mediation

edit

24.0.97.119 ignored the mediation request (neither agreeing nor disagreeing), yet continues to revert "deaf" to "deaf-mute". Please continue to monitor The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter. If this continues, I will ask everyone's opinion about seeking formal arbitration from Wikipedia. Arbitration results in a binding decision. Thanks. Ward3001 00:37, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Scruffy Murphy's (Wanaka)

edit

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Scruffy Murphy's (Wanaka), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. :: maelgwn :: talk 12:13, 18 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gah, I always log on a little too late for these things. Oh well, I'll revive the article when the information I requested of him actually gets to me, it was meant to be a lot better. But shit happens eh! samh004-talk|con 05:36, 18 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Sam chilli 2.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Sam chilli 2.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
