Yes, this user is something of a problem. She skirts the edges of our policies, changing odd words or adding or subtracting material here and there, subtly altering the sense of articles to turn them from neutral to highly-charged. She wears her heart on her sleeve - homophobic, rabidly anti-abortion, anti-women etc. But whilst her opinions are obvious when taken together, individually they are within the lines of our rules and guidelines.
All I can say is that she won't be able to keep it up. Eventually she will put a foot wrong and actively violate a rule here. Then she will be blocked for it. This is a foregone conclusion - anyone who appears on Wikipedia with a POV to push will eventually push it too far. Until then, all we can do is use Wikipedia rules against her. Most useful are WP:V and WP:CITE - the requirement that all edits are verifiable and all edits have a citation. If someone edits where that isn't the fact, an edit summary that requests V and/or CITE and a note on her talk page frees you from the WP:3RR - if a user is breaking other rules after a warning, then you're just reverting vandalism. Although, of course, avoiding breaking the 3RR yourself remains a good idea and a request for protection of the article is a better option. Edit warring, for any reason, is always bad.
I will, however, stalk her edits for a few days. I'm not prepared to push my own publically stated political views, but I am prepared to ensure that articles remain free of bias and POV from someone who seems to be pushing such views and ruining Wikipedia in the meantime. ➨ ЯEDVERS 23:45, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
