January 2017 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at List of highest-grossing Indian films in overseas markets, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Diff: [1][2] In these two edit, you changed the gross first to $28.01 million, then to $28.4 million, but you provided no new reference either time, and this, the existing reference, says that the film grossed $24.5 million overseas. Obviously a new reference would be required here. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:23, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Same deal here. You changed Dangal's gross to 701 crore rupees, when this source, which is the only source present in the article, indicates 690.26. This is indistinguishable from vandalism. Please don't submit any more unsourced data. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:26, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to List of highest-grossing Indian films. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Diff: [3] Again, please stop changing data without providing reliable sources. Though the *previous* value was 721.14 crore, that was supported by Indian Express. The intermediate user changed the value to 728 crore, which was supported by Koimoi. Now while Koimoi is not generally considered reliable (See WP:ICTF#Guidelines on sources) changing the value without changing back the source is unhelpful, since the 721.14 value is not present in the Koimoi source, and thus, can't be verified. If this is confusing, maybe you should stick to less controversial changes, like typo fixes and such until you get a hang for how to make these changes properly. Thanks.
