Danny Elfman

edit

wp:STICKTOSOURCE This remixes album is not a collaboration work: he gave his songs and let the artists make whatever they wanted with them ! However, this is a major point, he specified that the only time he co-composed with someone else was for this song in 1992. Don't make wp:original research and let those quotes in. Don't revert this and do not engage in a war edition. I will be watching your editsSpadebru (talk) 18:15, 27 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

On August 12, 2022, Elfman told theAV Club about the remixes: "The whole project was unexpected, and then suddenly there’s this bonus on top of this whole experience that I hadn’t even planned on, which is interfacing with all these people for the first time ever. I have done [only] one [other] collaboration in fortysomething years. When the second Batman [movie] came out, I collaborated with Siouxsie from Siouxsie and the Banshees. And that’s it." My edits are only about the writing "Process" and it is to be included in the section about "film music".
Based on this, from https://inews.co.uk/culture/danny-elfman-bigger-messier-interview-film-music-grim-reaper-1788548
"Elfman says he’s only once collaborated with another artist – meaning writing music together – on a song for Batman Returns (1992), with Siouxsie and the Banshees."
here, it is clearly said that he has only shared credits once, for "Face to Face".
BTW, I didn't add anything about the remix album, as it is not relevant in that section
"True", the track with Reznor is credited by a sole musician, Elfman.

it is also the same for "kick Me", the track with Iggy

Also recommend editing the paragraph for grammar and clarity: "Elfman said he has only once collaborated with another artist on music.[source] For the Siouxsie and the Banshees song "Face to Face" for Batman Returns in 1992, Siouxsie Sioux would lay the foundation of the song, and Elfman would add to it and send it back for review in a long-distance collaboration mandated by the studio's need for a quick turnaround.[source] Elfman saw himself as a "non-collaborator", saying "I’m not used to collaborating at all with anybody... I did one track with Siouxsie and the Banshees back in 1990, maybe, but that’s it. I’ve always been in my own bubble, and that bubble has been very fertile."[source] Sajrocks (talk) 01:31, 28 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
"meaning writing music together" has been erased whereas that is the most important part here, proving he has never co-written a track with a musician again since 1992. Spadebru (talk) 09:36, 28 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Danny Elfman, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Variety and Desert Sun.
