Speedy deletion nomination of Exa Web

edit

Hello Sajal12,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Exa Web for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Danrok (talk) 15:06, 27 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:Corporate logo of Exa Web Solutions, Melbourne, Australia.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Corporate logo of Exa Web Solutions, Melbourne, Australia.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:45, 4 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for reviewing the image. The image does not fit the corresponding page, so please go ahead and delete this image, by all means. I've uploaded new PNG image with the requisite size and it fits properly. And this new image is not orphaned and used as the corporate logo of the org, as can be seen in the Wikipedia page. Thank you. Sajal12 (talk) 16:06, 4 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Exa Web Solutions

edit

The article Exa Web Solutions has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no indication od notability. Of the given refs, 1 is not significant, 2-4 are all based on the same press release, 5-8 do not mention the company, 9-12 are directory entries. Google searches not finding anything significant

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 08:43, 22 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
