Wow edit

I'm really impressed. Thank you for the apology. And actually, now that I know where you're coming from, I can definitely say I understand how you feel; most of the articles I've ever created have been merged away into others--for instance, Sailor Moon (anime) and Sailor Moon (manga) now just redirect to the main article. Princesses (Sailor Moon) was one of the first things I ever did, and it got toasted almost immediately (and with very little discussion). I was pretty upset at first, but decided that if I wanted to keep doing things here, I needed to get a good grip on the rules of the system, or else it would be a constant, frustrating fight.

I've also had to recognize that, regrettably, this isn't the right place for a really thorough, in-depth coverage, for any number of reasons--some of the fun stuff, like really digging into the timeline and figuring out that Sailor Cosmos is totally confusing and ambiguous--is just outside Wikipedia's scope, because it's supposed to be about the "real world". It's a major perspective shift, but there are fan-encyclopedias doing that stuff, and they're the right place for it. This, on the other hand, is the right place for something else--something that, actually, no one else is really doing. It's unique on the internet, and I've come to enjoy that about it. Even though it's kind of unintuitive and hard.

That all being said, if you can stand to stick around and help rewrite things, we need as many helpful hands on deck as we can get. True, it won't be The Oracle, but I think it'll hold its own as something worth reading and worth working on. And there's a whole lot that needs doing.

Thanks again. --Masamage 00:21, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for May 14 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sage (comics), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Firewall. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
