Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising. For more information on this, see:

February 2011 edit

This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Go promote your act elsewhere, please WuhWuzDat 17:01, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your user page edit

I have deleted your user page, which was inappropriate for many reasons:

  • Users are volunteers who are here to help build an encyclopedia. User pages are for them, if they choose, to say a little about themselves to help communication with other users about the project. User pages are not for extended material unconnected with Wikipedia - see WP:User pages.

The material would not have been suitable for an article, either, because:

  • The content was extremely promotional. Phrases like "catchy songs and superb stage presence... infectious charisma, versatile style, and positive attitude... " are PR-speak, puffery. That was an advertisement, not an encyclopedia article. Wikipedia requires a WP:Neutral point of view and is not for promoting anything.
  • Wikipedia only reports on things that are already established. We don't do up and coming. See WP:MUSICBIO for what a performer needs to have achieved before they can have a Wikipedia article.
  • Writing about yourself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained here.

The links in the Welcome paragraph above will tell you more about Wikipedia. JohnCD (talk) 17:03, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
