Image for your mother's book edit

Hi, you asked a question about using an image for your mother's book from Wikipedia. A kind and experienced editor answered you.[1] I'm not so experienced, and I'm not sure whether I'm more or less "kind". Lol. He commented, in part, "You may want to research the source further to be certain of the copyright status." There's a Wiki dispute that I'm not very much involved with, and I take it from the editor's page they would like to be careful what they say. I don't think anyone will take offense if I explain my experience. Some images are allowed by "Fair Use". Unfortunately, not everyone agrees that "Fair Use" is really "fair" (That is to say, legal.) Also some Wikipedia images are added temporarily -- that on examination turn out not to be "Fair Use". So it's important to investigate the source -- who really took the original photo or owns it -- don't assume that because it's in Wikipedia it has already been properly legally checked.
