Please answer this. edit

Can you please confirm to me if the Ashanti Empire used cannons in warfare. I heard they, Dahomey and Youruba did. I just want to confirm if they adopted cannon besides the guns. Kwesi Yema (talk) 12:06, 1 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

They had only few from the Dutch but made less use of it, it was only kept at a sacred place at Kumasi. They mostly used guns, spear etc.Sacrifice06 (talk) 19:06, 2 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much. But please, do you have any sources or books for the few cannons they used? Kwesi Yema (talk) 22:20, 9 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

You can read about it in these books Blackwood's Magazine or Ashante War and others. Like i said, it was the Europeans who mostly used it, and the few ones Ashantis had were kept as sacred. Sacrifice06 (talk) 19:47, 13 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Alright. Thank you very much for the information. Kwesi Yema (talk) 15:30, 15 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 03:02, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Can you please remove section from my talk page in which you mistook me for someone else? edit

Hey,

I believe you mistook me for someone else. A while ago you added a section on my talk page here. Here are my edits on the page you're talking about. I have only made one change on that page which involves correcting a spelling change. So can you please remove that section from my talk page.

Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amazingcaptain (talkcontribs) 09:43, 20 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
