June 2022 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Demon Boyz, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. PHANTOMTECH (talk) 08:36, 20 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:STAUBERMGMT/sandbox edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:STAUBERMGMT/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. June 2022 edit

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Cabayi (talk) 10:16, 23 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I sincerely apologize if the article came across as if it was being used for advertising or promotion. This was not the intention at all. I apologize and will not upload the same edits. As instructed i’m requesting a name change and unblocking this account. If unblocked I will make sure to do my best rectify the account and just clean it up. Would really love some help with that. Is there a support email I can contact? Will study more into properly writing and submitting articles. Thank you. STAUBERMGMT (talk) 07:23, 24 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Your choice of new username would be acceptable. There is no "support email"; Wikipedia is a volunteer project and us volunteers conduct almost all discussion here on wiki for openness and transparency(unless sensitive personal information is involved). Writing a new article is the most difficult task to perform on Wikipedia without a conflict of interest- it's even harder with one. We usually recommend that new editors first spend much time editing existing articles, to gain experience and learn about content guidelines. Please read Your First Article, as well as the conflict of interest and paid editing policies, before requesting unblock again, and in such a request tell us how your future edits will be consistent with those policies, as well as describe any edits you might make as a general contributor because you won't be unblocked to, in the short term, make conflict of interest related edits. If you build up a good edit history showing that you understand relevant Wikipedia policies(not all of them) and content guidelines, you may later be permitted to indirectly contribute in the area of your conflict of interest, but not now. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:52, 24 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
