Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, SSR1989. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. kingboyk (talk) 11:03, 4 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

May 2020 edit

  Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Anjan Chowdhury. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. You seem to be fixated on this article, and you are removing requests for citation. This is not allowed. PabloMartinez (talk) 15:26, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Now I get it. Sorry for the mistake as I was not aware of it. I hope not to make the mistake again. SSR1989 (talk) 17:10, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation edit

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/103.35.168.42, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

I am really shocked to see this thing. Can't I edit anything that I feel should be edited? Wikipedia had already blocked me at my earlier stage where I was new and less knowledgeable about writing something on here. I was checking this article as I started writing on this but later I found out someone had already done it that's why I was thinking to edit it by giving some additional info. I was also planning to edit some other profiles after this. The rest depends on you. SSR1989 (talk) 17:08, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Why are you removing tags? - PabloMartinez (talk) 17:15, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Actually, I am not aware of these tags. Also when I was reading seeing those tags I thought there was some mistake as the sentence doesn't requires any citation as it seems to be simple write up by the authors/editors though it's my thinking. So, I assume there was some problem that's removed it. Now I realize I messed it up. That's it, I made the mistake and will try not to repeat it. SSR1989 (talk) 18:02, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
