Hi, and Welcome to Wikipedia! While we encourage you to add encyclopedic content to Wikipedia, including creating new articles on notable topics, please do not remove the entire content of an article and replace it with the contents of a subject with the same name, as this is not appropriate. If you wish to create an article with the same name as a pre-existing one, then you should create a new article with a disambiguated title. You don't "delete" the previous one, unless it fails the notability test, and unless you can explain this in a talk page discussion, as well as in your edit summary.

In addition, Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. Such citations are not only required for the purposes of Verifiability, they are required in order to establish that the topic of the article is notable, which is the test for whether it merits its own article. To create a new article on a singer, I would suggest looking through some of Wikipedia's more well-developed articles on singers, such as those listed in this Music Biographies section, which have all achieved featured article status, the highest quality status that a Wikipedia article can achieve.

If you have further questions, or ever need help with editing, or understanding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 03:51, 7 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
