Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Repo! The Genetic Opera (soundtrack) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bmyspace\.com (links: http://www.myspace.com/dblmovies).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 00:20, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Mia, Days of Our Lives

Your recent edit to List of Days of our Lives cast members was reverted because it was unsourced. If you can find a reliable third party source, you can add the last name back. You may also use the show credits, but you MUST source it. Hope this helps. Welcome to wikipedia! Rm994 (talk) 21:02, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Templates for deletion nomination of Template:Repo! The Genetic Opera

Template:Repo! The Genetic Opera has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. magnius (talk) 09:25, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Articles for deletion nomination of Life with Derek on DVD

I have nominated Life with Derek on DVD, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Life with Derek on DVD. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. magnius (talk) 09:28, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

It's not listed as speedy deletion, so you have a few days to improve the template and save deletion (worth noting what you are doing at the Tfd page). However, consider whether the characters are individually notable enough to warrant the creation of pages, I'd hate to see you put a lot of effort into them, only to see them deleted as non-notable/unimportant - See WP:Note for advice on that. magnius (talk) 15:24, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Additional, I don't think that the following characters would warrant full pages Single Mother · Vanity & Vein News Reporter · Band Leader · Henchwomen, but they could, possibly, be group together on a generic character page. magnius (talk) 15:24, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:ShiloWallace.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:ShiloWallace.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 17:22, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Loud Machine

You have created a category of their songs. This should be Category:Loud Machine songs as is customary in Category:Songs by artist. The easiest is if you create the new one, move the songs into it and put {{db-author}} on the 'list of' category, and it will get deleted. Occuli (talk) 02:53, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Follow Me (Loud Machine song)

The article Follow Me (Loud Machine song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

notability not established

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Eeekster (talk) 08:45, 20 January 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:LoudMachineLeavingLA-AlbumArt.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:LoudMachineLeavingLA-AlbumArt.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 11:13, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

May 2010

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Alexa Vega. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Fan sites are not reliable sources. This is the second time your edit has been reverted. Future additions without a proper source will be treated as vandalism. Logical Fuzz (talk) 19:47, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

  • The second time was not done on purpose. I was doing a minor edit to another area and the preview messed up so I pasted what I had copied after adding the link to the page and the notes section, which was the entire article before you removed the Spy Kids 4 mentioning and hit enter on that... so having being a second "violation" is a bit out there.. also, I am pretty sure a celebrity knows if they are in a movie or not, as the article I posted linked to her confirming it, but I will wait until "reliable" sources come available, no problem with that at all. Please do not take this as me being mad, as I am not. I respect you are doing your job and doing it well. I just thought I'd explain the second edit thing, and my opinion on that one thing. Subpages

You're overdoing it with the userspace subpages, especially the ones that exist solely to promote the projects of you and your buddies.

I'll give you until November 1 to clean this up, then I'm going through and deleting 'em. DS (talk) 17:30, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Okay, that's very mature of you. You can make things go faster by tagging 'em with {{db-u1}} once you're done with 'em. DS (talk) 23:00, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

We noticed though that when you edited Robert Rodriguez, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Frank Miller (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Replaceable fair use File:DoveCameron.jpeg

Thanks for uploading File:DoveCameron.jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 04:47, 19 August 2014 (UTC)

Commons requires free-use images only - see Commons:Licensing for rules there. Free-use means anybody can use the image for any purposes with no restrictions. The license that permits that must by by the photographer or copyright owner and must be proven. Sometimes professional photographers give that license - it is extremely rare that they do. Speedy deletion nomination of File:RR-QT, Back to Back Logo.jpeg

A tag has been placed on File:RR-QT, Back to Back Logo.jpeg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Someone's fansite gone wild, orphaned fair use that was never tagged as well

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —Ryūlóng (琉竜) 00:12, 31 August 2014 (UTC)

We noticed though that when you edited Entertainment One Family, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Development. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to List of Kickin' It characters. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Geraldo Perez (talk) 15:37, 25 January 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for your efforts to expand The Marine 4. However, you seem to have copied and pasted text directly into Wikipedia in this edit. It contains text from this page that is under copyright. While it may seem helpful to use the studio's official synopsis, you must rephrase text into your own words. To copy text directly into Wikipedia without permission is a copyright violation. See this essay for guidance. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 21:08, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

Please stop directly copying text into Wikipedia from copyrighted sources. When you see text from another source, you can not copy it directly into Wikipedia. Use your own words or don't add it. This does not just mean "don't copy entire paragraphs", it also means that you are not allowed to copy the exact wording from multiple sentences. If the official synopsis says "must protect a high value target", then you should not copy that phrase directly into Wikipedia. Please read WP:PARAPHRASE. If you continue to do this, you can get blocked. This is serious. If you don't understand or have questions, then please go to the help desk and ask for guidance. ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
