Your draft article, Draft:Southdale District edit

Hello, SDHO. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Southdale District".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Hhkohh (talk) 06:06, 6 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

June 2019 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Richfield, Minnesota, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. John from Idegon (talk) 18:14, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Nearly the entire article is uncited, but only my changes were singled out for deletion. Can you clarify how one would address existing uncited data if not citations exist to delete it? In particular, one of my changes was removing uncited, non-encyclopedic information about the Richfield Rediscovered program. I am also unclear why the images should be removed. As is the case with nearly ever article about a city, they display the subject matter of the article: the city. Currently the only image in the article is of the Best Buy headquarters, which does not "increase readers' understanding of the article's subject matter" -- the city overall. Changes to articles get patrolled. Out of policy changes get reverted. How does the existence of poor content justify the addition of more? If you have a policy based objection to my revert, open a discussion on the article talk page and attempt to gain consensus. If not, you should WP:AGF and attempt to learn how Wikipedia actually works. See WP:BRD for what to do when an edit you've made gets reverted. My only goal is maintaining the quality of the encyclopedia. If you want to improve the article in question, I'll be glad to help. John from Idegon (talk) 21:19, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
