Welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Firstname Lastname) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. If you want to test things out, edit the sandbox instead. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Please don't be silly

edit

Please don't mess about with joke edits - We try hard here to produce something we can all be proud of - silliness doesn't help. Articles are monitored and users messing about face a block or a ban. Why not try and contribute something useful instead? Have a look at the below and get stuck in properly:

    The five pillars of Wikipedia
    How to edit a page
    Help pages
    Tutorial
How to write a great article
    Manual of Style
    Fun stuff...

Thanks - and enjoy yourself as a responsible Wikipedian!

Firstname Lastname again

edit

Please refrain from creating inappropriate pages such as Firstname Lastname. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Fan-1967 16:45, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Do not remove tags

edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles, as you did with Firstname Lastname. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you.

My Discussion Page again

edit

Please can all of you stop editing my discussion page and use the sandbox instead

You really ought to learn a bit about Wikipedia. Your discussion page is intended for people to leave messages for you. That is the only purpose of a user talk page. It would be pointless to leave warning messages for you in the sandbox. If you don't want to receive more warning messages, stop creating inappropriate articles. I feel I can make an adequete reply on my Discussion Page to your draconian and to be honest self-denial of the facts.
Wikipedia is an important resume resourse for a lot of the editors, and a valuable source of information for tens and hundreds of users every day. Were we to allow thr proliferation of bogus articles such as yours, the site would quickly disintigrate into a disgusting cesspool of television fanboyism and pseudoscientific articles. -Condiment (not registered)
