Speedy deletion nomination of T.Patrick Ryan edit

A tag has been placed on T.Patrick Ryan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 13:07, 18 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

February 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Catherine Mary Stewart has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/pages/Catherine-Mary-Stewart/141909024523?ref=ts/ (matching the regex rule \bfacebook\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 14:34, 28 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Potential conflict of interest edit

Something to cuddle

Hello Ryantbo. I hope you are enjoying editing Wikipedia. I am sure you have familiarised yourself with our core policies, although like me, you are unlikely to have read all of our policies and guidelines. I saw your recent help-desk request and felt that I should draw your attention to our conflict of interest policy. If you are connected to the subject of our Catherine Mary Stewart article; for example you have a business or personal relationship, then you have a conflict of interest and should thus take more than normal care to maintain a neutral point of view. When adding to the article, always cite your statements to reliable sources so that such statements can be verified by others; this is particularly important because the Catherine Mary Stewart article is a biography of a living person and therefore subject to stricter policy control.

Be aware that Wikipedia is not a promotional tool. This is clearly stated within the policy: What Wikipedia is Not. Neither is Wikipedia censored which, in this context, alerts you to the fact that Wikipedia is the encyclopaedia that anyone can edit. Being bold applies to you and every other editor. Providing you and other editors cite good reliably sources that can be verified, such edits are unlikely to be deleted.

Please take this note constructively, as intended. If you have any questions, I would be delighted to try and answer them on my talk-page. In such a case, please open a "new section". Good luck --Senra (talk) 19:37, 7 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Inappropriate external links edit

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Catherine Mary Stewart. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You were warned about this back in 2010, and again in 2012; but here you are trying to sneak it in again! --Orange Mike | Talk 15:19, 8 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
