Speedy deletion nomination of Jockeyed (association football)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jockeyed (association football) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://discoversoccer.info/what-are-jockeying-and-stabbing/#ixzz4dmc0anwU. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Jockeyed (association football), a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Justeditingtoday (talk) 20:01, 9 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

If I remove the copyrighted content and replace it would the page be okay then? Ryanfinlayson1 (talk) 20:12, 9 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Racism. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Justeditingtoday (talk) 20:29, 9 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Racism, you may be blocked from editing. EvergreenFir (talk) 20:29, 9 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

So... edits like this are not okay. Read WP:AGF and WP:NPA. EvergreenFir (talk) 21:10, 9 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
Why are you reading my talks with other admins? Ryanfinlayson1 (talk) 21:22, 9 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
They're not admins... and to answer your question, because I (like anyone else) can see you contributions. It's standard to keep any eye on potentially disruptive users, especially ones who start out vandalizing and move one to accusing folks of stalking... EvergreenFir (talk) 21:31, 9 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bishonen | talk 22:47, 9 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I was falsely flagged by a holodomor denier JustEdittingtoday. He is also flagging a lot of people, who on his page have accused him of using "neutral language" tone as a way to promote his political agenda. I was also miscalled by EvergreenFir, who realized that flagging me and not describing why I was flagged is unproductive and deters editing for people ignorant for disruptive edits.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Just Chilling (talk) 23:52, 9 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
