Request reason:

First, I understand what I have been blocked: I vandalized the following pages: the Batman: Dark Tomorrow page to mention the video game YouTube channel Triple Jump playing the game, the Pedro Pascal page to say his son was Grogu, and the Emu War page to say that the Emus won the war. Second I will not continue to cause damage or disruption. And third I will make useful contributions instead.

Here are 3 specific examples:

Change Ripper Owens page from: "He first gained attention as the lead singer of Judas Priest and then Iced Earth"

to

"He first gained attention for replacing Rob Halford as the lead singer of Judas Priest and later for his short stint as the lead singer of Iced Earth."

edit notes: the old verbiage makes it seem as though he was the most notable lead singer of Judas Priest when in fact he was only in the band for 7 of their over 50 year career. It also makes it seem like he was in Iced Earth for a long time, when he was only in the band for 4 years.

XFL 2020 page: Change: except New York, Los Angeles and Tampa Bay would return. New York, Los Angeles, and Tampa would be replaced by teams in San Antonio, Las Vegas and Orlando, Florida, respectively.

To: "except New York, Los Angeles and Tampa Bay would return. New York, Los Angeles, and Tampa would be replaced by teams in Orlando, Florida, San Antonio, and Las Vegas respectively."

Edit note: Change the order since the New York Guardians became the Orlando Guardians and the Tampa Bay Vipers became the Vegas Vipers. The replacement cities listed in the original version are out of order with the cities they're replacing.

The Who Concert Disaster Add to this page: The "Weird Al" Yankovic song Another One Rides The Bus, written in 1980, contains the lyrics "I haven't been in a crowd like this since I went to see The Who" as a reference to this disaster.

I would also fix whatever mess this is on the List of World Heavyweight Champions (WWE) page It says all this at the bottom of the page because someone formatted incorrectly

Russel brought back the world heavyweight championship on Monday Night RAW and wants to challenge Roman Reigns to a title match with all titles on the line. "RyanConnell5150 (talk) 03:21, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Not a bad unblock request, but your good faith suggestions on how to improve articles do not include sources, so this is a decline from me. PhilKnight (talk) 20:40, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

February 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Gobonobo. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Batman: Dark Tomorrow, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. gobonobo + c 07:07, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

October 2021 edit

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to List of serial killers by number of victims. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use your sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. February 2022 edit

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Pedro Pascal, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Lard Almighty (talk) 10:35, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.

Is anyone going to review my unblock request from almost a month ago? RyanConnell5150 (talk) 20:59, 30 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi RyanConnell5150, I am hesitant to grant an unblock request because your edits were clearly vandalising the articles instead of trying to improve upon them. However, I am willing to give a second chance under the proviso that further disruptions will be heavily frowned upon, and that if you vandalise again I would encourage an immediate block without warning (per WP:ROPE). Do you understand this condition? Z1720 (talk) 01:54, 15 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yes I fully understand this condition and I think it's completely fair. I have learned my lesson and don't plan on ever vandalizing a page again. I very much appreciate a second chance.— Preceding unsigned comment added by RyanConnell5150 (talkcontribs) 10:25, February 15, 2023 (UTC)

RyanConnell5150 please ensure that you sign all talk page edits by placing four tildes (like this: ~~~~) so that your post is timestamped. @Alexf:, as the blocking admin, do you have any concerns about this editor being unblocked? Z1720 (talk) 13:38, 15 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Z1720: Under the conditions stated, including WP:ROPE i have no issues. Let's see what the user does going forward. -- Alexf(talk) 13:43, 15 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for February 17 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jake Roberts, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rockin' Robin. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:08, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

March 2024 edit

Hi RyanConnell5150! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at WrestleMania 13 that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Yutah123 (talk) 07:18, 24 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

It IS undisputable if you understand the history of WrestleMania. But I went ahead and added a note that it wasn't minor. RyanConnell5150 (talk) 07:24, 24 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
But it wasn't superficial. It has to be both superficial and indisputable, unless it's something like fixing vandalism. Lard Almighty (talk) 07:30, 24 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
