Week 2 assignments

edit

Your suggestions for the Howard Gardner article are fine. But keep in mind that Gardner is alive so be sure to read WP:BLP. I would've expected there to be some public domain photos of him somewhere though...

I didn't see where you added a referenced statement to an article. I will still give you some credit for this if you do it this week, but be sure to post on my talk page when you have done so.

Articles for Consideration

  1. Thalamus - There is already a considerable amount of material in this article such that it might be difficult to improve much in our Intro class.
  2. Howard Gardner - This guy is huge in IQ literature so I imagine this could be easily expanded.
  3. Substantia nigra - Same problem as Thalamus.

So If you want to do Gardner or the DM nucleus of the hypothalamus go ahead and add it to the list. Otherwise post new comments about which article you would like to do. --MTHarden (talk) 18:15, 28 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Looking at your reference addition to Howard Garnder it looks like you used the correct format, but you can't cite wikipedia on wikipedia (unless the article happened to be about wikipedia). What you really need to do is find an outside reference to add as a source. You can review WP:SOURCE for more info. --MTHarden (talk) 15:17, 5 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sandbox

edit

I was looking for a link to your sandbox from your user page (per this assignment. I'll still award you some credit if you get them done this week. Be sure to post on my talk page (in the Week 3 section) after you've completed the assignment. --MTHarden (talk) 14:40, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
